Seafood avocado

Here is a tasty summer recipe to make with avocados, shrimp, Norway lobster, crayfish or lobster meat, dividing avocados in half and filling them with mayonnaise, mustard and ketchup sauce.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 2 avocados

- 100 g of peeled shrimp


- the pulp of 3 prawns, diced

- 75 g of crayfish or shredded lobster meat (also suitable in a box)

- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise


- 1/2 tablespoon of French mustard

- 1 teaspoon of grated horseradish

- 1 tablespoon of sherry or dry marsala


- 1 tablespoon of ketchup

- 2 tablespoons of unsweetened whipped cream

- the juice of 1 lemon

- 8 black olives

- oil

- salt and pepper

How to prepare avocados with seafood

Wash, dry and divide the avocados in half lengthwise.

Remove the stones from the avocados and with a spoon dig the pulp so as to leave a layer of approx. 1 cm adhering to the rind.

Dice the extracted pulp and mix it together with the crayfish or lobster pulp.


Squeeze the lemon juice, season with a little oil, salt, freshly ground pepper, then put the mixture in the refrigerator.

Aside, prepare a sauce with mayonnaise, French mustard, ketchup sauce, sherry or marsala and horseradish.

Mix everything well and add the cream, the cubes of Norway lobster and the mixture that had been put in the refrigerator before.

Mix again and fill the cavities of the avocados with this stuffing, then garnish with the peeled shrimp and black olives.
