How to cook spaghetti with mussels in white, a recipe to be prepared in a short time, including, among the necessary ingredients, extra-virgin olive oil, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. If desired, you can combine a little grated lemon zest mixed with chopped parsley.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 400 g of spaghetti

- 1 kg of mussels


- 1 clove of garlic

- 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

How to prepare spaghetti with mussels in white

Wash and brush the mussels carefully under running water, then transfer them to a pan with a spoonful of oil, raise the flame, cover the container and let them open.

Remove the shells from the molluscs and put them in a bowl.

Strain the liquid that has formed in the pan with gauze and add it to the mussels.


In a saucepan, boil the salted water, toss the spaghetti and cook them al dente.

Meanwhile, put the oil, the clove of garlic, the mussels with their liquid, salt and pepper in a saucepan.
