Tomatoes and green olives with basil

Simple recipe to prepare a side dish of stuffed tomatoes and green olives, salad including onion and basil, with salt and olive oil.


Ingredients for 4 portions

- 6 tablespoons of olive oil

- 1 chopped onion


- 12 basil leaves

- 4 salad tomatoes

- 20 stuffed green olives


- salt

How to make tomato and green olive salad with basil

Wash and dry the tomatoes, then cut them in half following the direction of the width, from each of the two parts obtain some fairly large pieces.

Put tomatoes, olives, oil, salt and chopped onion in a salad bowl, then mix and distribute the prepared washed basil leaves on the surface.

As a variant of this recipe, green olives stuffed with normal green olives without pits can be used or a mixture of green and black olives but always pitted.
