post-title

What to see in Alba Adriatica, an itinerary including the main places of interest and things to do, including sandy beach, cycling and Villa Chiarugi.

Tourist information

A very popular tourist center, Alba Adriatica is an Abruzzo town in the province of Teramo located at the mouth of the Vibrata stream, in correspondence with the area occupied by the ancient people of the Liburnians.

Renowned place for leisure and vacation, Alba Adriatica boasts a large offer of hotels, campsites and recreational facilities.

The sandy beach is very long, in fact it extends to the town of Martinsicuro, it is also bathed by a sea that stands out for the transparency of its waters.

Those who prefer to move by bicycle can hike along the promenade cycle path, which winds for over twenty five kilometers, or pedal happily wandering through the green hills located in the hinterland.

What see

Despite the fact that the urban layout of Alba Adriatica is fairly recent, it includes some historically relevant details, including the Torre della Vibrata, which dates back to the sixteenth century like all the other towers located along the coast.

In addition to this, there are several noble villas, including Villa Chiarugi which, built over the remains of a castle in the eighteenth century, was the main villa by the Fanalli family, a place where concerts were often held thanks to the excellent acoustics of its halls due to the terracotta floor.
