How to make corn muffins with sultanas, classic American recipe for an appetizer with few necessary ingredients and quick and easy preparation.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 300 g fine ground yellow flour

- 0.5 l of milk


- 100 g of butter

- 50 g sultanas softened in water and well squeezed

- salt


Preparation of corn muffins

Bring the milk to a boil, add a pinch of salt and pour the flour, continuing to mix for about 30 minutes, to obtain a fairly dense polenta to which to add the well-squeezed sultanas.

Pour a few spoonfuls of polenta into a tea cup and form slightly rounded muffins, to be turned upside down on a heated serving plate.

Sprinkle the muffins with the melted butter and serve on the table without letting them cool.
