Valeria di Milano, wife of San Vitale and mother of Saints Gervasio and Protasio, died in the third century and is venerated by the Catholic Church as Santa and Martyr.

She was born around the third century and her husband Vitale was an army officer who, after being subjected to martyrdom, was assassinated in Ravenna.

While returning to Milan with her husband's body, Valeria was taken by a group of pagan criminals who wanted to force her to deny God, but she refused and for this reason they beat her up to the point of making her die from the serious injuries sustained.

By divine grace she concentrated on herself great gifts of kindness, piety and sweetness, she was also very religious and adamant in her faith, a very devoted mother and precious instrument in the hands of God for the conversion of her family.

Her apostolate was lived in her family with prayer, charity, affectionate care to open the heart of her husband and children to the charisms of faith, as well as with the concern and concern for servitude, which was also converted through its to the Christian faith.
