How to make baked cauliflowers with saffron flavored bechamel, simple recipe with necessary ingredients and preparation procedure before cooking. This side dish is particularly suitable for accompanying roasted chicken.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 5 dl of milk

- 1 sachet of saffron


- 70 g of grated emmentaler

- 1 cauliflower

- 50 g of butter


- 40 g of white flour

- salt and pepper

Preparation of baked cauliflowers with bechamel

Divide the cauliflower into florets, then wash and steam them for 10 minutes.


Melt 40 g of butter in a pan, add the flour and toast it, stirring constantly, until it becomes hazelnut colored.

Pour the cold milk slowly, bring to the boil and cook for about 5 minutes.
