Beef steaks with flambé sauce with pepper and gin

How to cook beef steaks seasoned with gravy obtained from the meeting of gin, pepper and flambé salt in a pan with butter, to be poured immediately before serving still hot.


Ingredients for 4 portions

- 40 gr. of butter

- 4 tablespoons of gin


- salt

- pepper

- 2 tablespoons of oil


- 500 gr. beef steaks about half a centimeter thick

Preparation of beef steaks with gin

Heat the oil well in a large enough non-stick pan and put the beef steaks to cook them for about two minutes each part, letting them take a certain color.

Transfer them to a serving tray and with a piece of kitchen paper quickly clean the pan before putting it back on the fire, this time with butter, gin, salt and pepper, heating with medium heat, tilting it slightly and moving it so that the edge come to the fire to cause the gin to catch fire.

At this point, remove from the heat and pour the sauce obtained on the steaks into the serving tray, serving immediately.
