Bites of baked cheese

How to make puff pastry morsels with cheese, recipe with parmesan, eggs and milk to be cooked in the oven, what is needed and ingredients, guided procedure.


Ingredients for 10 morsels

- 1 packet of frozen puff pastry

- a little butter and flour


- 100 g grated Parmesan

- 30 g butter

- 3 egg yolks


- 1/4 liter boiling milk

- a pinch of cayenne pepper

Preparation of the pieces of cheese in the oven

Melt the butter in the boiling milk and allow to cool.


In a bowl beat two egg yolks with the milk left to cool, the grated cheese and a pinch of cayenne pepper.

Transfer the mixture into a saucepan and place it on a very low flame, stirring constantly.

Cook until the cream starts to thicken, but without boiling it, then remove from the heat.

Meanwhile roll out the dough with a rolling pin, until you get a sheet about 3 millimeters high.

With the cutter cut 10 discs with a diameter of 7 centimeters and, with the cut-outs of the dough, after kneading them again, ten other smaller discs about 3 centimeters wide.

Grease and flour the oven pan lightly, then arrange the larger discs by raising the edges slightly, until they form bowls.

Fill the bowls with the cream and place the smaller disks on it.

Beat the remaining egg yolk with half a spoonful of cold water brushed on the surface of the morsels, before passing them in the oven for a cooking of about twenty minutes, then serve on the table still hot.
