Ingredients 4 people
- a chicken of about 1 kg
- 100 gr. of bacon
- half a glass of white wine
- 200 gr of peeled tomatoes
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper
How to prepare chicken cacciatore with bacon
Wash, dry, cut the chicken into about 12 pieces and brown them in a pan with the bacon.
When they are well colored add half a glass of white wine and let it evaporate.
After add the crushed peeled tomatoes and the sliced onion, brown in a separate pan, with a little oil.
Season with salt and pepper and cook with the lid on for about 40 minutes. If it gets too dry, add some hot broth.
