How to make a diced melon, a recipe that includes, among the necessary ingredients, cooked ham and emmental, as well as mayonnaise and lemon juice with a pinch of paprika.
Ingredients for 4 people
- 2 small firm and ripe round melons
- 70 g emmental cut in a single slice
- 100 g cooked ham in a single slice
- 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise in a jar
- a few drops of lemon juice
- a pinch of paprika
- salt
Preparation of diced lemon
Cut the melons in half horizontally.
Remove the seeds and filaments and, with the help of a sharp knife, extract the pulp, so as to obtain, from each melon, two cups to cut the end of the cap so that they can be served on a plate. Place them in the refrigerator.
Cut the pulp of the melons, the ham and the cheese into small cubes.

In a small salad bowl, beat the mayonnaise with a fork, to be softened by adding a few drops of lemon, paprika and a pinch of salt.
Add all the diced ingredients, then carefully turn over using a spoon, before filling the melon cups, to be placed on a serving plate to serve on the table.
