Gorgonzola, mascarpone and walnut pie

How to make a gorgonzola, mascarpone and walnut pie, recipe with few necessary ingredients that are easy to prepare, to be served with crackers or toasted bread.


Ingredients for a cake of about 1 kg.

- 450 g of gorgonzola divided into 3 equal and rectangular slices

- 450 g of mascarpone


- 150 g of walnut kernels

Preparation of mascarpone and walnut gorgonzola pie

Remove the crust from each of the three slices of gorgonzola and arrange them on three sheets of aluminum foil.

Divide the mascarpone into three equal parts.


Place the first slice of gorgonzola on the bottom of a rectangular foil mold lined with aluminum foil, inverting the aluminum sheet on which it is located.

Spread one of the three parts of the mascarpone over it.

Sprinkle with 40 gr of chopped walnut kernels.


Repeat this operation twice, omitting in the last phase of spreading the mascarpone, which must be kept aside.

Put the cake in the refrigerator for about two hours, until it has hardened, then remove it from the refrigerator and turn the mold upside down on a tray.

Beat the remaining mascarpone until it is soft and fluffy, then spread it on the surface and on the edges of the cake, then decorate it with the remaining walnuts.

Leave the cake in the refrigerator for about another hour, until the mascarpone is hard.
