Tourist information

Island located further south of the Lesser Antilles, Grenada is immersed in the southeastern Caribbean Sea, the Southern Grenadines are also part of it.

It is the second smallest independent nation in the western hemisphere, after Saint Kitts and Nevis, and is located north of Trinidad and Tobago and south of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The local economy is still tied to agriculture with growing tourism and offshore financial activities.

Grenada is an island little known from the mass but very green.

Inland there is a dense rain forest, while in coastal areas you can appreciate the tropical forest and the wonderful coral reef.

What see

Saint George, which is the capital located along the west coast, looks like a set of streets and alleys that climb up the zigzagging hills creating very picturesque scenarios.

Markets are always very full of people looking for frantic low-cost products including cocoa, coconuts, tropical fruits of various types, bananas and assorted spices.

The inhabitants of Grenada are very hospitable and cheerful, very funny is the summer carnival whose celebrations are concentrated in the third and fourth week of August when the town resounds to the rhythm of music, which makes the locals dance and not dressed up in masks more varied, a unique atmosphere that manages to drag even the most reluctant to generalized fun.
