Grilled celeriac in the oven

How to make oven-baked celeriac, a recipe that is easy to perform in a short time, with few ingredients needed for preparation.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 2 celeriac, weight about 300 gr

- 8 spoons of grated Parmesan cheese


- 60 gr butter

- salt

Preparation of baked celeriac

Put a pan with about 3 liters of water on the fire, adding two tablespoons of coarse salt.


While waiting for the water to warm up, prepare the celery by cutting them in two with a sturdy knife and peel the halves obtained with a knife, then wash and cut them into slices about 3 mm thick, to be immersed in boiling water, cooking for about 5 minutes.

In the meantime, preheat the oven by turning on the grill, then drain the celeriac slices and transfer them to an ovenproof dish large enough to spread them as far as possible on the bottom.

Once this is done, sprinkle everything with the grated Parmesan and distribute the butter divided into many pieces on it.

At this point you just have to bake using an intermediate oven surface, cooking for 3 minutes until the surface becomes golden.
