Grilled radicchio with cheese

How to make grilled radicchio to be seasoned with Asiago oil and cheese, to be served on the table after adding a good dose of freshly ground pepper.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 100 g of asiago

- 4 tufts of red radicchio


- 6 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

- salt and pepper

Preparation of grilled radicchio with cheese

Wash the radicchio, dry it and cut each head in half, then heat the plate well, waiting for it to be red-hot well, then place the salad on top, letting it cook for about 10 more minutes, taking care to turn the tufts often using a scoop wooden or kitchen tongs suitable for the purpose.

Transfer the grilled salad to a serving dish, then season it with oil and salt slightly, finally distribute over the cheese in small flakes, sprinkle with a large amount of ground pepper before serving.
