- 50 gr. of sugar

- 100 gr. of bread soaked in milk

- 100 gr. of rice cooked in salted water

- 1 scoop of boiled and chopped chard

How to prepare the Lucca vegetable pie with beaks

Quickly mix the butter, sugar, oil, one whole egg and one red, a pinch of salt, baking powder and flour.

Roll out the dough in a 30 cm diameter cake tin and to make the beaks let the necessary dough protrude from the edges.

Mix the ingredients of the filling well; bread soaked in milk and squeezed, boiled rice, boiled and chopped chard, grated Parmesan, whole eggs, sugar, salt and pepper.

Spread the filling over the dough, then sprinkle the surface of the cake with flakes of butter, a little olive oil and a pinch of cinnamon.
