Milano Marittima (Emilia Romagna): what to see

post-title

What to see in Milano Marittima, a popular seaside tourist resort on the Adriatic coast, located on the Adriatic coast in the municipality of Cervia.

Tourist information

The neighboring countries are respectively north of Lido di Savio and south of Cervia, whose spas are immersed in a large natural park included in the stretch of road that separates the two localities.

In this park there is also the Butterfly House, where the same ecosystem of the tropical rain forests is reproduced to host the many species of butterflies.

The name of the location reveals the strong link with the Milanese environment, which led to the development of this important seaside resort.

In the early twentieth century an agreement was made between the Municipality of Cervia and an important Milanese family so that in exchange for a large area of marine wrecks, villas, parks and gardens were built, in order to create a seaside and tourist settlement with respect of environmental liveability and greenery.

Thus began the development of this welcoming resort which today is able to offer an extraordinary accommodation made up of excellent hotels, restaurants, well-equipped bathing establishments, bars, discos, pubs and more.
