Mixed fried fish: procedure for a perfect recipe

Easy procedure to prepare an excellent fried fish based on shrimp and squid, a recipe to accompany with lemon slices and parsley sprigs.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 500 g of squid

- 300 g of medium-sized prawns


- 100 g of white flour

- 6 dl of seed oil for frying

- salt

How to prepare fried squid and scampi

Clean the squid by removing the black blister, the internal bone and the eyes.


Wash them under running water and dry them with a cloth, then cut them into rings.

Shell the prawns, removing the head and armor, keeping only the tails aside, then wash and dry them.

Flour the calamari and the prawns, removing the excess flour by putting them in a colander and shaking them.

Pour plenty of seed oil into a pan and when it is hot at the right point, dip the squid a few at a time.

After frying all the squids, fry the prawns.

It takes eight minutes of cooking for the squid and five for the prawns which, as they are cooked, will surface.

As soon as they are pulled up from the pan, put them on paper towels and drain the excess grease.

Salt the fried fish and serve immediately hot, on a plate decorated with slices of lemon and sprigs of parsley.
