Mustard prawns: cognac recipe

How to make mustard shrimps, a recipe that includes the addition of cognac and Worcester sauce, for a light and intense second course.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 500 gr of peeled shrimp

- 4 spoons of cognac


- 1 teaspoon of Worcester sauce

- 2 teaspoons of strong mustard

- 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs


- juice of half a lemon

- 60 g of butter

- salt


Preparation of shrimp with mustard

Melt 40 gr. of butter in a saucepan, then add the prawns, salt and stir occasionally during cooking, which must be about 4 minutes.

Transfer them to a plate with a perforated ladle and add the cognac, the Worcester sauce, the mustard, 2 tablespoons of water and the breadcrumbs to the saucepan, then mix, leaving to cook for about two minutes over medium heat, reducing the liquid to half .
