Pan-fried turkey slices with caper and lemon sauce

How to make slices of turkey in a pan with caper sauce and lemon juice, necessary ingredients and detailed description of the whole preparation process.


Ingredients for 4 portions

- 2 tablespoons of pickled capers

- 1 lemon


- 60 g of butter

- 2 tablespoon of olive oil

- 400 gr turkey breast, cut into slices about half a centimeter thick


- salt

How to cook turkey slices with caper and lemon sauce

Put a large enough pan on the heat and heat the oil for 30 seconds, then lay the turkey slices on the stove, cook over high heat until golden on both sides, about 2 minutes on each side.

Reduce the heat by letting it cook for a further 7 minutes, turning the meat twice making sure that it does not stick to the bottom, possibly pouring a drop of cold water.


After preparing the chopped capers, transfer the meat to a serving dish and pour 4 tablespoons of water into the pan, leaving to heat.

Remove from the heat and add the minced capers together with the lemon juice, butter and salt, stirring until the butter melts.
