Parma ham and basil tagliatelle

How to cook Parma ham tagliatelle, recipe with parmesan and ripe tomatoes among the main ingredients, to be prepared in about 40 minutes.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 400 g of noodles

- 500 g of ripe tomatoes


- 200 g Parma ham

- 1 spring onion

- 1 bunch of basil


- 30 g of butter

- 2 tablespoons of olive oil

- salt


- 100 g of grated Parmesan

- ground pepper

Time of realization

About 40 minutes, cooking included

Preparation

1) First of all cut the Parma ham into thin slices, from which to obtain strips 1 cm wide.

2) Clean the onion and chop it, using only the white part.

3) After washing the basil, dry it by putting some leaves aside, then chop the rest.

4) Wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters, then remove the seeds and reduce the pulp into small pieces of medium size.

5) Take a pan and pour a little oil with a knob of butter, to be heated to brown the spring onion.

6) In abundant salted water cook the noodles respecting the cooking times written on the package, so that they remain al dente.


7) At this point add the slices of ham with the onion and mix well, heating for a few minutes.

8) Once the noodles are drained, transfer them to a large container with the pieces of tomato, then arrange the ham with the onion, basil and parmesan in layers.

9) Adjust the pepper and mix well, finally garnish with the remaining basil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
