Ingredients for 4 people
- 500 g shelled peas with 1.2 kg shell
- A fresh garlic
- A sprig of parsley
- Bacon 50 g
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
How peas and bacon are made
Put the peas shelled and washed in a pan.
Add the fresh clean garlic, the sprig of whole parsley, 8 tablespoons of oil and a little salt.
Pour cold water until the peas are covered and cook slowly, without a lid, until the peas are cooked and the water has not withdrawn.
A few minutes before removing from the heat, add the bacon cut into very thin slices.
