Procedure for cooking oil-cooked peas in a pan, an easy-to-make recipe flavored with bacon and onion, flavored with mint and lightly sweetened.
Ingredients for 4 portions
- a few mint leaves
- 50 gr. of bacon
- olive oil
- a kilo and a half of peas
- 1 onion
- half a teaspoon of sugar
- salt and pepper
How to prepare peas in oil pan
Put the peas in a pan together with the oil, the onion cut into slices, half a teaspoon of sugar, a few mint leaves and a glass of water.
Cook with the pan without lid, stirring often and letting the water withdraw.
This recipe can also be made by browning the onion with the bacon and then continuing in the same way.
