How poached or poached eggs are made, a recipe that describes the easy preparation process for which few ingredients are required and a fat-free cooking carried out in boiling water.
Ingredients for 4 people
- 8 fresh eggs at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon of salt for each liter of water
- 1 teaspoon of vinegar per liter of water
Preparation of poached eggs
Boil in a saucepan plenty of water with salt and vinegar, then lower the heat to low and pour the eggs, prepared previously broken each in a saucer.
Leave the eggs in the boiling water for a cooking time of about three minutes, so as to make the egg white thicken around the egg yolk.
Drain the eggs using a perforated ladle and gently place them on a dry napkin.
Use a small knife to clean the eggs from any smudged egg whites, once you have done this, serve them on the table while still hot.
