What to see in Predazzo in the Fiemme valley, itinerary including the Geological Museum of the Dolomites and various places in the surrounding area, including Bellamonte, Ziano di Fiemme, Fiera di Primiero and San Martino di Castrozza.

Located at the confluence of the Val di Fiemme with the Travignola valley, Predazzo is a renowned Trentino holiday resort, where there are traditional activities related to woodworking and a typical white marble of the place.

In Piazza dei Santi Filippo e Giacomo there is the Geological Museum of the Dolomites, where an interesting collection of natural history is exhibited, as well as minerals typical of the region, including marble called predazzite.


In the surroundings, at a distance of 5 km, there is Bellamonte, a popular summer and winter resort in the Travignola valley, located on the slopes of Mount Viezena, whose peak reaches 2491 meters.

What see

In Ziano di Fiemme, a picturesque village located 4 km away, in the church of Santa Maria di Loreto there are two remarkable Furlaner altarpieces, dating back to the sixteenth century, as well as two eighteenth-century tabernacles made of wood and the Last Supper painted by Rasmo, local painter of the nineteenth century.

Among the excursions in the surrounding area, it is worth going to Fiera di Primiero, a renowned center located 36 km away and 1300 meters above sea level, in a basin where the Dolomites surround.

Of particular interest is the sixteenth-century Casa del Dazio and the Gothic church of Santa Maria Assunta.

San Martino di Castrozza, located 31 km in the municipality of Siror and a famous internationally renowned resort, is pleasantly located in a valley covered with meadows and dominated by the splendid Pale di San Martino, from the village the Colverde-Rosetta cableway starts and the Tognola cable car, there are also numerous paths for interesting excursions.
