Comment – In Psalm 11 the author struggles against all those who want to discourage him, marveling that they can advise him in this way, given his great trust in the Lord God.

[2] Behold, the wicked stretch the bow, adjust the arrow on the rope to strike the straight in the dark in the dark.
[3] When the foundations are shaken, what can the righteous do?
[4] But the Lord in the holy temple, the Lord has the throne in heaven. His eyes are open to the world, his pupils scan every man.
[5] The Lord scrutinizes righteous and ungodly, he hates those who love violence.
[6] It will rain on the wicked embers, fire and sulfur, burning wind will touch them in fate;
[7] The Lord is just, he loves the right things; righteous men will see his face.
