Psalm 131: complete, commentary

post-title

CommentHe who prays in Psalm 131 does not boast about the riches and acknowledgments received but, on the contrary, remains humble taking into account his limitations. God's love and protection make him happy, he hopes that the people of Israel will always have faith in the Lord.

Psalm 131 complete

[1] Song of the Ascensions. Di Davide.

Lord, my heart is not proud and my gaze does not rise proudly;

I don't go looking for big things, superior to my strength.

[2] I am calm and serene as a weaned child in the arms of his mother, as a weaned child is my soul.

[3] Hope Israel in the Lord, now and forever.
