Psalm 6 complete

[1] To the choir master. For stringed instruments. The eighth. Psalm. Di Davide.

[2] Lord, do not punish me in your indignation, do not chastise me in your fury.

[3] Have mercy on me, Lord: I am failing; heal me, Lord: my bones are trembling.

[4] My soul is completely upset, but you, Lord, until when ...?

[5] Turn, Lord, to set me free, save me for your mercy.

[6] Nobody among the dead reminds you. Who in hell sings your praises?

[7] I am exhausted by the long lamentations, every night I mourn my bed with tears, I sprinkle my bed with tears.

[8] My eyes wear out in pain, I grow old among many of my oppressors.

[9] Get away from me all you who do evil, the Lord hears the voice of my tears.

[10] The Lord hears my plea, the Lord welcomes my prayer.
