Psalm 8 complete

[1] To the choir master. On the song: "I Torchi ...". Psalm. Di Davide.

[2] O Lord our God, how great is your name on all the earth: above your heavens your magnificence rises.

[3] With the mouths of babies and infants you affirm your power against your adversaries, to silence enemies and rebels.

[4] If I look at your sky, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have set,

[5] what is man because you remember him and the son of man because you care for him?

[6] Yet you did it little less than the angels, crowned it with glory and honor:

[7] you have given him power over the works of your hands, you have placed everything under his feet;

[8] all the flocks and herds, all the beasts of the countryside;

[9] The birds of the sky and the fish of the sea, which travel the paths of the sea.

[10] O Lord our God, how great is your name on all the earth.
