Ingredients for 500 g of sauce
- 600 g ripe tomatoes from sauce
- 70 g extra virgin olive oil
- 12 basil leaves, washed and dried
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preparing the sauce of raw tomatoes
Peel the tomatoes, remove the seeds and put them in the blender.
Blend for a few moments, salt, pepper and add the whole basil leaves, which must be left in the tomato for about 10 minutes.
Before serving the sauce, add the oil, mixing carefully, so as to emulsify it well with the tomato puree.
