Sausage and vegetable skewers

How to prepare tasty sausage and vegetable skewers, recipe with onion to decorate with strips of peppers and serve with pilau rice.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 10 sausages

- 300 g of Basmati rice


- 70 g of butter

- 1 large onion

- 8 spring onions


- 1 green pepper

- 1 red pepper

- paprika


- salt

- pepper

How to prepare sausage and vegetable skewers

Wash the peppers, remove the seeds and filaments, then cut them into strips.

Clean the onions and cut them in half, divide the sausages in two, then prepare the skewers alternating sausages and onions, then sprinkle with paprika.

Cook the skewers on a grill over high heat, turning them occasionally.

Chop the large onion and put it in a pan with 40 g of butter, then let it dry and then pour the rice into it for a few minutes.

Add salt, pepper and half a liter of hot water, bring to a boil, cover, bake and cook for about 25 minutes.

Remove the rice from the oven and mix the remaining butter.

Place the skewers on a tray, decorate them with the peppers in strips and serve them with the pilau rice separately.
