Ingredients for 4 portions

- 3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

- 3 eggs


- 10 gr butter

- 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs

- 200 gr ready tomato sauce


- 800 gr clean chard

- 200 gr ricotta

- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil


- 1 clove of garlic

- salt and pepper

How to make salty chard and ricotta patties

Wash the chard, then salt and cook them, only with water from their washing, in a saucepan for a time of about 5 minutes.

Drain, squeeze and chop them, then pass them in a pan with hot oil and peeled garlic clove, allow them to dry further on medium heat for a further 3 minutes.

At this point, remove the garlic, then mix the beets in a bowl with the ricotta, adjust the salt and pepper, finally add the cheese and eggs, mixing everything well.

Grease and sprinkle 4 molds on breadcrumbs and pour the egg and chard mixture into them and, after leveling, put in a preheated oven at 180 ° C and cook for about 20 minutes, then turn off the oven and leave to cool for a few minutes before to turn out.

Serve the flans with the hot tomato sauce poured over.
