Spaghetti with clams with tomato

How spaghetti with clams and cherry tomatoes are made, recipe for a typical first course of Mediterranean cuisine, quick and easy to prepare in about 25 minutes.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 400 g of spaghetti

- 850 g of peeled tomatoes in a jar


- 1 kg of fresh clams

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- 80 ml of olive oil


- 3 cloves of garlic

- 4 tablespoons of chopped parsley

- pepper


- salt

Preparation

1) First wash the clams, then clean them and remove those with the shells already open.

2) Put the clams in a large pot and, after covering them with water and lemon juice, cook them for about 8 minutes covered, waiting for them to open, then remove the clams that have remained closed.

3) After heating the oil in a large pan, brown the garlic for 5 minutes, then add the tomatoes with their water and mix well.

4) Once brought to the boil, cook for twenty minutes with the lid, at the end regular salt and pepper.

5) Heat the clams in the sauce.

6) Respecting the cooking time written on the package, cook the pasta, then drain it by dripping and put it back in the pot.

7) Finally season with sauce and parsley.
