Spaghetti with tomato and mozzarella

How to make spaghetti with tomato and mozzarella, a recipe with basil ideal for serving excellent lunches and dinners with a tasty and light flavor, to be prepared in about 30 minutes.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 400 g of spaghetti

- 1.5 kg of ripe tomatoes


- 2 shallots

- 1 small piece of chilli pepper

- salt


- pepper

- 6 tablespoons of olive oil

- 12 fresh basil leaves


- 200 g of mozzarella

Preparation

1) Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water, respecting the cooking instructions written on the package.

2) After cutting the tomatoes crosswise, remove the core, then first blanch them and then peel them, remove the seeds and cut the pulp into cubes.

3) Clean the shallot and cut it into cubes, then remove the chilli seeds and slice them into strips.

4) After mixing everything, add salt and pepper to taste and pour the olive oil.

5) Wash the basil leaves, dry and cut into strips, then add them to the tomato.

6) Cut the mozzarella into cubes of about 2 cm.

7) After draining the spaghetti, drain them and transfer them to the used pan, without water.


8) Season the spaghetti with tomatoes and mozzarella.

9) Finally heat over low heat for about 3 minutes, without stopping stirring until the mozzarella starts to melt.

10) Now put out the fire and bring to the table.
