Spelled and red bean soup

How to make a spelled and red bean soup, a recipe including onion and carrot among the few ingredients needed, to be served hot with olive oil.


Ingredients for 4 portions

- 1 carrot

- 1 stalk of celery


- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce

- Olive oil

- Spelled gr. 150


- Red beans written gr. 200 (dry)

- A small onion

- Salt and pepper


Preparation of spelled and red bean soup

Boil the beans (soaked at least 12 hours before) in about a liter and a half of cold salted water.

When they are well cooked, pass about half of them and put the puree obtained in the cooking broth.

In another pan, brown the smells in 5 spoons of oil.

After a few minutes add the preserves dissolved in a little water and then, after about ten minutes, pour all the broth with the beans.

Season with salt, pepper and toss the spelled (it should not be soaked).

If necessary, add boiling water and cook for about an hour.

Before enjoying it, wait at least an hour after you have extinguished the fire.

Serve it warm or hot, without cheese, and with a drizzle of excellent oil.
