Stewed green beans with tomato and basil

How stewed green beans are made with tomatoes, recipe with basil and garlic cloves in olive oil to cook in a pan.


Ingredients for 4 portions

- 2 cloves of garlic

- some basil leaves


- 4 tablespoons of olive oil

- 1 kg. of green beans

- 400 gr. peeled tomatoes


- salt and pepper

Preparation of stewed green beans with tomato

Wash and cut into 7 or 8 cm pieces. green beans.

Put them in a pan with olive oil, garlic cloves, basil and crushed peeled tomatoes, salt and pepper.

Add a glass of water and cook over low heat until the liquid has withdrawn.

Continue cooking for a few more minutes and serve.
