How to make sweet and sour apricot sauce for roasted meat, sweet and sour recipe with sugar and vanilla, easy and quick to prepare following the procedure indicated.
Ingredients for 1/4 liter
- 250 g of ripe and pitted apricots
- 2 dl of water
- 150 of sugar
- a piece of vanilla
Preparation of sweet and sour apricot sauce
Put the sugar and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat and stirring with a wooden spoon, dissolve the sugar, then leave to cook for about 10 minutes.
When the mixture is syrupy, remove from heat.
Pass the apricots in the vegetable mill, collecting the past in a pan, then pour in the freshly prepared sugar syrup and vanilla.
Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce becomes thick enough, to coat the wooden spoon used for stirring.
Remove the pan from the heat, remove the piece of vanilla, and it is ready.
