Capital of Taiwan with a large number of inhabitants, Taipei is considered by tourists to be a welcoming and fascinating city.

This city has a consolidated reputation for the culinary specialties that make it a gourmet's paradise.


There are modern hotels, with indoor shops and trendy bars, built in recent years together with Taipei 101, one of the tallest buildings in the world, surpassed only by the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Taipei is constantly developing, a technological city but respectful of the environment, with a rich history and a strong relationship with the western world.

Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall is an imposing tomb, as well as a shrine built in honor of Taipei's most famous leader, including the National Opera House in its large park.


The Longshan Temple, of Taoist religion, is the most suggestive of the city with dragons and incense, important symbols for the inhabitants.

The night markets are ideal places to shop and eat at night, they are scattered throughout the city.

They are normally open until midnight, the largest being that of Shihlin, while Huashi is the most famous, located a few steps away from Lungshan Temple, where everything from snake soup to painted umbrellas is sold.


What see

Taipei 101 is a 101-story building with bars, restaurants, spas, cinemas and shops.

The top can be reached quickly with the lift, one of the fastest in the world, to enjoy an excellent panorama.

Located in the verdant hills on the outskirts of Taipei, the National Palace Museum contains more than 650,000 priceless Chinese artifacts.

The main exhibition, including the famous cabbage, follows a very interesting and easily interpretable timeline, passing through the dynasties of China until today.

The Wisteria Tea House, an authentic Chinese tea house, includes the historic garden where wisteria plants abound.

The Beitou Museum, originally a hotel at the time of the Japanese occupation, which later became a museum, is equipped with over 5,000 traditional folk art artifacts, including Aboriginal embroidery.

Taiwan occupies the second place, after Japan, for the number of hot mineral water sources.

Among the wooded mountains of the Landis Pausa Resort there are sulphurous springs, where you can swim, while in Wulai, visitors can experience traditional Aboriginal dances and good food.

Maokong Gondola is a cable car that allows passengers to go up, choosing from a series of routes that branch off from different stations, to discover some interesting places, including two temples and a zoo.
