Tuscan spelled and bean soup

How to cook, make and season a good Tuscan spelled and bean soup, a simple and quick recipe to prepare, what ingredients to use.


Ingredients for 4 people

- Spelled gr. 150

- Dried red beans written gr. 200


- A small onion

- A carrot

- A stalk of celery


- A spoonful of tomato sauce

- Olive oil

- Salt and pepper


How to cook Tuscan spelled and bean soup

Boil the beans, after soaking them for 12 hours, in about a liter and a half of cold salted water.

When they are well cooked, pass about half of them and put the puree obtained in the cooking broth.

In another pan, brown the smells in 5 spoons of oil.

After a few minutes add the preserves dissolved in a little water and then, after about ten minutes, pour all the broth with the beans.

Season with salt, pepper and toss the spelled, which should not be soaked in pirma, unlike beans.

If necessary, add boiling water and cook for about an hour.

Before enjoying it, wait at least an hour after you have extinguished the fire.

Serve it warm or hot, without cheese, and with a drizzle of excellent oil.
