How to cook various flavors of croutons with vegetables and cheeses, making three different types of condiments to put on baguette-like slices of bread, au gratin in the oven.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 250 g of baguette-like croutons

For the first seasoning:


- 150 g of courgettes

- 80 g of bacon

- 1 sprig of chives


- 20 g of parmesan flakes

- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

- salt and pepper


For the second seasoning

- 150 g of red and yellow peppers

- 150 g of shelled beans

- 50 g of Aosta Valley fontina

- 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

- salt and pepper

For the third seasoning

- 100 g of leek

- 50 g of sweet gorgonzola


- 40 g of walnuts

- 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

- salt and pepper

How to prepare various flavors of croutons with vegetables and cheeses

Cut the bread into slices.

How to prepare the first seasoning:
Wash and tick the courgettes, then cut them into sticks of about 4 cm, slice the bacon into strips and brown everything in a pan with the oil for 2-3 minutes, then remove the preparation from the pan and keep it aside.


How to prepare the second dressing:
Boil the beans for 2-3 minutes in salted water, drain them, let them cool and peel them.

Wash and cut the peppers into cubes, brown them with the oil in the same pan used for the courgettes, then add the beans, season with salt, remove the seasoning from the pan and set aside.

How to prepare the third dressing:
Wash and cut the leek into rings and brown it for a few minutes with the oil, in the previously used pan, then add the chopped walnuts, salt, pepper and chopped parsley.

Spread the three toppings over the slices of bread and sprinkle with:

- chopped chives and parmesan, croutons with zucchini and bacon,

- fontina cheese, croutons with peppers and broad beans,

- gorgonzola, those with leek and walnuts.

Put the croutons in a hot oven and cook them for 5 minutes.

Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
