White light, like that of the sun, is a set of rays characterized by various colors.
Taking an example, a glass prism is able to disperse the white light in the colors that compose it, corresponding to those we also see in the rainbow.
For this reason, water drops are affected by the phenomenon that disperses sunlight, giving rise to the atmospheric phenomenon of the rainbow.
By combining lights of various colors it is possible to obtain white light, a typical example is white reproduced on a color TV.
This television white is produced by a mixture of many red, green and blue dots that mix together on the screen.
