Simple recipe with few ingredients that describes how to cook swordfish with pan cooking and chopped onion and butter sauce.
Ingredients for 4 portions
- 4 slices of swordfish weighing 150 g each
- 80 gr of butter
- 4 slices of onion
- salt
How to cook swordfish in a pan
Chop the onion, then combine the mince obtained with salt and half a glass of water in a large pan and bring to the boil with a high heat.
Place the swordfish steaks on the bottom of the pan and cook in a gentle boil, turning them once during the necessary 5 minutes of cooking, then transfer to a serving tray.
Evaporate part of the cooking sauce left in the pan, keeping the flame lively, then add the butter and continue boiling for another 2 minutes until a whitish and frothy-colored sauce is obtained.
Finally pour the sauce over the fish and serve immediately.
