How to make lemon sorbet flavored with basil by combining water and sugar, lemon juice and Vodka, as well as chopped basil and whipped egg white.
Ingredients for 6 people
- 300 ml of water
- 200 g of sugar
- 3 lemons
- 1 glass of Vodka
- 6 basil leaves
- 1 egg white
How to prepare lemon sorbet flavored with basil
Boil the water with the sugar and the zest of 1 lemon for 40 seconds.
Remove the zest and leave to cool, then add the lemon juice and the vodka.
Chop the basil and add it to the liquid by mixing.
Beat the egg white until stiff and gently add it to the mixture, mixing from the bottom to the top.

Mix everything and keep it in the freezer for 2 hours.
At this point transfer it to the ice cream maker or to a blender for 20 minutes, after having cooled the glass in the freezer, then put it back in the freezer.
