Psalm 32: complete, commentary

post-title

CommentIn psalm 32 the psalmist lived the experience of feeling joy for the forgiveness of God. Humbly admitting one's sin leads to the result of the cancellation of guilt, as this attitude combined with the help of God makes men forget their own past of sinners through the practice of charity. The one who has reconciled himself with God and in whose spirit there is no deception is therefore blessed.

Psalm 32 complete

[1] Of David. Maskil. Blessed is the man who is to blame, and forgiven the sin.

[2] Blessed is the man to whom God does not impute any evil and in whose spirit he is not deceit.

[3] I kept silent and my bones were worn out while I moaned all day.

[4] Your hand weighed on me day and night, as my heat withered in the heat of summer.

[5] I have manifested my sin to you, I have not kept my error hidden. I said: "I will confess my sins to the Lord" and you have forgiven the malice of my sin.

[6] For this reason, every believer prays to you in times of anguish. When large waters break in they cannot reach it.

[7] You are my refuge, protect me from danger, surround me with exultation for salvation.

[8] I will make you wise, I will show you the way forward; with my eyes on you, I will give you advice.

[9] Do not be like a horse and a mule without intelligence; their pride is bent with bite and bridle, if not, they don't approach you.

[10] Many will be the sorrows of the wicked, but grace surrounds those who trust in the Lord.
