How to make a sauce with minced meat and tomato, a recipe to be easily made, with dried mushrooms among the few necessary ingredients and preparation process.
Necessary ingredients
- some basil leaves
- 300 gr of ripe fresh tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste diluted in water
- 20 gr of dried mushrooms
- 500 gr of minced beef
- 1 carrot
- 1 celery rib
- 1 onion
- a glass of olive oil
- a glass of red wine

Preparation of gravy with minced meat and tomato
Chop the carrot, celery, onion and basil and put them in a saucepan together with the minced meat, salt, pepper and glass of oil.
Sauté stirring often, add the glass of red wine and, after 15 minutes, the fresh peeled tomatoes and the tomato paste diluted in water.
Combine the dried mushrooms previously softened in lukewarm water and finely chopped, also pour their soaking water, being careful not to let go of the soil that could have been deposited on the bottom of the container.
Cook over low heat for about an hour.
If necessary, during cooking, add a few tablespoons of hot broth.
