Ingredients for 4 people

- some slices of homemade bread

- 320 g of mozzarella


- 160 g of butter

- 3 desalted anchovies

- 1/2 glass of milk


- a little salt and pepper

How to prepare anchovies and mozzarella croutons

Cut the bread and mozzarella into uniform slices, lightly sprinkle them with very little salt and freshly ground pepper, then skewer them alternately on skewers, taking care to make the mozzarella slices adhere well with the slices of bread, ending with the latter .

Place the ends of the skewers on the edges of a round pan, so that they remain raised from the bottom of the container.


Cook them in a hot oven for about twenty minutes, sprinkling them with melted butter.

Make sure that the bread does not become too dry and that the mozzarella does not drip.
