- 2 sockets of comino seeds

How to prepare lentils and courgettes with aromatic herbs and lemon juice

Soak, if necessary, the lentils for the time indicated on the package.

After soaking the lentils in boiling salted water, together with the bay leaf and marjoram, for five minutes, then drain and set aside the cooking liquid.


In a pan with the oil brown the onion.

Add the courgettes and cook for five minutes, then add the lentils, the lime juice, the garlic, the basil, the fennel, the rosemary, the comino, the salt, the pepper and a part of the cooking liquid of the lentils .

Cook over low heat for at least an hour or until well cooked.

After adding the butter, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot or warm.
