How to cook sausage and lettuce in the oven, a recipe to be cooked in the oven with a few necessary ingredients, for which the easy preparation process is explained, from cleaning the lettuce to pouring the cream in the final phase of cooking.


Ingredients for 4 people

- 2 tufts of tender and fresh lettuce

- 150 g of sausage


- 50 g of butter

- 1 medium onion

- half a teaspoon of white flour


- about 1/2 glass of fresh cream

- 1 nut for broth

- salt


How to prepare lettuce with sausage

Clean the lettuce by removing the hardest leaves, then cut each head vertically into four parts.

Wash the leaves without detaching them from the stem, then drain them well.

Finely chop the onion, chop the sausage, dissolve the nut in a little boiling water.

Put onion, sausage and butter in an ovenproof dish, transfer everything to the programmed oven at maximum power for two minutes, then take it out and place the pieces of lettuce in a single layer, putting the cut side in contact with the bottom, then pour on the lettuce the nut broth and salt a little.

Put the pan back in the oven and cook for twelve minutes.

Halfway through cooking, taking care not to break them, leave the pieces of lettuce in the container, if a lot of liquid has formed, leave the container uncovered, otherwise cover with a lid.

Occasionally rotate the container inside the oven so that cooking takes place uniformly.

Dilute half a teaspoon of flour in the cream, taking care not to form lumps and, about two minutes before the end of the cooking, pour it on the lettuce, then, if necessary, add salt.

Turn the pieces of salad over to flavor them well, then finish cooking.


Leave the preparation in the oven turned off for about two minutes before serving.
