How to cook peas in oil cooked in a pan, a simple recipe with the aroma of mint and onion, ingredients and methods of preparation with browned bacon.
Ingredients for 4 people
- a kilo and a half of peas
- 1 onion
- half a teaspoon of sugar
- a few mint leaves
- 50 gr. of bacon
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
How oil peas are made
Put the peas in a pan together with the oil, the onion cut into slices, half a teaspoon of sugar, a few mint leaves and a glass of water.
Cook with the pan without lid, stirring often and letting the water withdraw.
This recipe can also be made by browning the onion with the bacon and then continuing in the same way.
