Slow cooked boiled pork shoulder

Ingredients for 6 people

- 1,5 kg boneless pork shoulder

- 1 tablespoon aromatic vinegar


- 2 celery ribs in small pieces

- 1 pickled onion with two cloves

- 1 bay leaf


- salt and pepper

- 1 small grated horseradish root as an accompaniment

Preparation of boiled pork shoulder

Wash and dry the pork shoulder and put it in a pot with high but not too wide edges.


Cover the meat with cold water and bring to the boil, frothing, then add vinegar, salt, pepper, onion, celery and bay leaf.

Let the boil resume and then cook over medium heat for about two hours.
